I had decided that I really needed some time resting in the sunshine before heading back. Colonia was the perfect place. Small, quaint and quiet, it was a massive change from Bariloche and Buenos Aires.

Who would have known? In Argentina December 29th is “gnocchi day” so all hands on deck for these vacationing Argentines. No one remembers why….. it was delicious though! Thank you Marina!
